7 Beauty Sins

So I’ve seen these tag posts floating around for a while and this one looks the most fun. I know people normally post them as YouTube videos but I think they work well as blog posts too.

Now, on to the questions:

1. GREED - What is your most & least expensive beauty item?
Most Expensive: My Naked 1 & 2 pallets. I think they were about £36 each which is a lot of money for eye shadow I know but I use them so often that it was definitely worth the money as I use the colours every day.

Least Expensive: Natural Collection Lipsticks. I normally buy them when there are offers on so get 3 for £5. The shades can be a little hit and miss but I’ve found some lovely pinks and reds so I don’t mind.

2. WRATH – What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
It’s got to be my Rimmel Lipstick in Coral Queen. I go through periods of applying it and loving the bright orange colour, and then a week later I hate it and can’t wear it for more than 10 minutes without wiping it off and applying some lipbalm. It can cling to dry patches on the lips so I think that’s why.

3. GLUTTONY – What are your most delicious beauty products?
My most delicious has to be my Moroccanoil. It is the loveliest scent and the smell lingers on my hair after I’ve applied for most of the day. When I’ve got over to see friends after I’ve washed my hair they always ask what perfume I’m wearing and are super surprised when I say it’s actually a hair product.

4. SLOTH – What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Moisturiser/Skincare in general. I used to be really bad at removing all my makeup and moisturising but I have made a concerted effort to change this. My skin gets dry and if I don’t keep up with my skincare routine it looks patchy, so this past week I’ve been making a real effort and I can already see the benefits.

5. PRIDE - What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
I think it’s got to be mascara. I’ve very lucky as I have really dark thick eyelashes so with good mascara they look almost fake. I just think it makes me look like I’ve made an effort with my appearance even if I’ve just rolled out of bed.

6. LUST - What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
Bit of a random one, but I guess I go for tall guys as I’m only 5’6” so a guy would have to be pretty short to be my height! I like someone with a sense of humor too, and nice teeth. I had braces for a year and then surgery on my jaw so after all the hassle I’ve been through to get good teeth I now find bad teeth a real turn off.

7. ENVY - What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
I’ve seen tonnes of videos, especially by Vivianna Does Makeup, featuring candles or with candles burning in the background so I’d love one from Diptyque or Neom.

Hi Guys!

So I’ve always read beauty/fashion blogs and loved them, but I’ve never got around to starting my own. I think I was a little intimidated by all the ‘big bloggers’ out there and wondered if my opinion on products was even necessary but then I thought, what the hell, I’m going to do it anyway! I’ve been really into makeup and skincare at the moment so my initial posts will probably focus on those, I’m going to write a couple of posts tonight and put them up of the course of this week so keep your eyes peeled, the first will be on the new Revlon Lip Butters.
